Baylor Bound

Baylor Bound is a partnership between MCC and Baylor University designed to help students transfer more easily between the two institutions. Some facets of this partnership have changed over the years but there remains a deep commitment to helping students succeed.

About

MCC students interested in transferring to Baylor, should work with their academic advisors to review degree plans and talk through appropriate courses. Students may be admitted to Baylor after completing an application for admission if they have earned at least a cumulative 2.75 GPA. Admission to certain majors, colleges or schools, programs, and departments may also require a higher GPA.

Benefits

Before transferring, students have expanded opportunities to learn more about Baylor, such as meeting with the a Baylor counselor during visits to the MCC campus, and attending special events on Baylor’s campus.

Students also receive the benefit of a strong relationship with advising staff at both institutions who partner on communication and training regarding degree plans, transferable courses, and advising points of contact.
