"Meet the Wacos"
Part of the Waco History Project, "Meet the Wacos" will include a presentation by MCC history instructor Linda Pelon about these first settlers and other natives who lived in the region. Community members are invited to come early at 6:30 to speak with some of Pelon's history students. They will present display boards and share findings from their research on the original settlers who chose this shallow limestone crossing on the Brazos as their home.
