Arts & Sciences

The mission of the Arts and Sciences division is to provide freshman and sophomore-level courses which may apply to an associate or a baccalaureate degree. Its programs are intended to enable students to:

  1. acquire an integrated command of computational, scientific, and communicative skills;
  2. cultivate a sensibility for the aesthetic;
  3. develop a perspective on the continuum of human activity;
  4. function as well-informed, responsible citizens of the local and global community; and
  5. delight in the virtues of lifelong learning.
