William Haskett teaches low brass, brass ensemble, and music appreciation at MCC. Frequently heard as the principal bass trombonist in the Waco Symphony, Dr. Haskett has performed the all-state music for the Texas Bandmaster's Association. He holds degrees from East Texas State University as well as the Ph.D. degree in Music Education and Trombone from the University of Oklahoma. After a successful career as a band director in Arkansas, Dr. Haskett has been at MCC for 30 years, previously serving as band director and department chair.
