Mission
Our mission is to introduce students to the four major subfields of anthropology (physical anthropology, archeology, linguistics, and ethnology/cultural anthropology) and to enhance awareness of resources available to nurture continued interest in anthropological issues. Our purpose also includes increasing appreciation for the diversity of humankind. We focus on developing a broad understanding of the discipline of anthropology and encourage student participation in projects that provide direct experience in one of the four subfields.
