Instructor Program

Not only does MCC train students for a career in cosmetology, the school also trains professional cosmetologists to become certified instructors.
The Cosmetology instructor Certificate of Technology Program allows professionals to become trained educators in less than a year. Students study educational theory and practice, effectively preparing them for success in the classroom.
The program emphasizes classroom management, curriculum development, evaluation methods and the use of media in the classroom. After completing more than 750 hours, students will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to take the state exam to become a licensed instructor.
