Harwell Memorial Golf Tournament nets $6,500
More than 80 golfers turned out on May 12 for the 6th Annual Sheriff Jack Harwell Memorial Golf Tournament at Lake Waco Golf and Country Club. Tournament organizers Jickey and Andy Harwell, sons of the former McLennan County Sheriff, reported that the tournament raised $6,500 for the Jack Harwell Scholarship fund at the MCC Foundation. His tournament sponsors presented a check to Dr. Michaelis and Foundation Executive Director Harry Harelik on June 13.
