Associate Degree Nursing Admission Criteria
Admission criteria are subject to change. It is the student's responsibility to remain current with admission requirements. Applications are ranked by using the point system below. For applicants with 15 hours or more from the A.D.N. curriculum, GPA will be determined in those specific courses only, not counting the elective.

- Grade Point Average GPA x 10
- Grade of "A" in Required Sciences on First Attempt:
- Residence - (Furnishing false information to the college with intent to deceive may result in admission denial or program dismissal).
- Health Career Certification
GPA is calculated using support courses in the A.D.N. curriculum, excluding the humanities elective.

| BIOL 2402 | 1 point |
| McLennan County | 1 point |
| Licensed Vocational Nurse | 3 points |
| Other Health Career Certification | 1 point |
| Tech-Prep Program (An official program) | 1 point |
A copy of health career certifications must be included with application or in the A.D.N. office BEFORE deadline date. Applicants must submit a letter from employer validating at least 6 months of work experience within the past year.
