Clinical Practice
Students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology Program gain a wide variety of experiences through rotations at clinical sites in Waco, Temple, Killeen and Gatesville. Students will complete about 1,500 clinical hours during their two years in the program. All students rotate through all of these facilities:
- Waco – Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Providence Health Center, Scott & White Waco Clinic, and Waco Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic
- Temple – Scott & White, Olin E. Teague Veterans Center, and Kings' Daughters Clinic
- Killeen – Scott & White Killeen Clinic
- Gatesville – Coryell Memorial
- Lampasas – Rollins Brook Community Hospital
- Clifton – Goodall Witcher Hospital

Students will work with state-of-the-art equipment during their clinical rotations, including short rotations in special imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine and mammography.
The program also has an agreement with Temple College that allows for two-way interactive instruction for didactic classes.
