*Classes taken in the Summer II session will NOT count toward the prerequisite requirements.
Once accepted into the program students must complete the Hepatitis B series vaccination, provide a copy of a current TB test, current immunizations, and current American Heart Association - CPR certificate.
Students are required to provide their own transportation to clinical sites.
Students are encouraged to have personal health insurance. Students are also required to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Students must contact the program director if there are any issues concerning the background check or drug screen before applying to the program. Failure to do so may prevent the student from entering the program. Neither McLennan Community College nor the affiliated clinical sites are financially responsible for any illness, injury or medical expenses accrued while being enrolled as a student.
Meeting the admissions criteria does not guarantee admission to the program. All applicants will be reviewed and prioritized according to established admission criteria.
