Once accepted into the program students must complete the Hepatitis B series vaccination, provide a copy of a current TB test, current immunizations, and current CPR certificate.
Students are required to provide their own transportation to clinical sites which currently consists of Providence Health Center and Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco Texas. Other clinical sites may be added in the future.
Students are encouraged to have personal health insurance. Students are also required to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Neither McLennan Community College nor the affiliated clinical sites are financially responsible for any illness, injury or medical expenses accrued while being enrolled as a student.
Meeting the admissions criteria does not guarantee admission to the program. All applicants will be reviewed and prioritized according to established admission criteria.
