Since MCC's founding in 1965, thousands of students have benefited from the school's strongest traditions: excellent teaching, individual attention, student support, and equal opportunity. Among the more than 350 full- and part-time MCC faculty members are industry professionals, community leaders, and national award-winners.
MCC is located in Waco, the Heart of Texas. Waco is brimming with activity year-round. From concerts and performances at MCC's Bosque River Stage to the annual Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo, from exhibits at the Art Center on the MCC campus to numerous museums including the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, there's something for everybody in Waco. Waco's Historic Suspension Bridge was the longest single-span suspension bridge west of the Mississippi when it was completed in 1870.
MCC's Bosque River Stage is an outdoor theatre offering many various theatrical shows and musical concerts each semester.
