Tami L. Nutt, Coordinator of Professional and Organizational Development
Ms. Nutt has strong roots in the Waco community and is thrilled to be serving at MCC. Both of her parents grew up in the Waco area and Ms. Nutt graduated from Midway High School. She attended MCC in summers and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and the Academy of Freedom with minors in Political Science and Communications from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. She earned her Master of Arts degree in history from Baylor University, followed by a move to Washington, D.C. where she worked at the Bill of Rights Institute. In 2003, Ms. Nutt became the Assistant Director of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core at Baylor University, and taught courses in the BIC as well as the Political Science department.
Ms. Nutt and her husband, Scott, enjoy traveling to Walt Disney World in Florida (she's been over 15 times and counting) and playing with their two dogs, Belle - a beautiful basset hound, and Beau - a miniature beagle that chews everything in sight.
