Jennifer Garretson, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Garretson graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Garretson practiced in the Dallas area for over 5 years and in the Waco area for 1 year. Dr. Garretson became the new Program Director of McLennan Community College's Veterinary Technology Program in January 2007. Dr. Garretson belongs to the following professional organizations; American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), North Central Texas Veterinary Medical Association (NCTVMA).

Frances Turner, R.V.T.
Frances has worked in the veterinary field for over 27 years. For 14 years she taught in an A.V.M.A. accredited Veterinary Technology program. Her focus was mainly on Parasitology, Microbiology, Hematology, and general laboratory procedures. For 13 years she has gained clinical experience working as the head technician in local veterinary clinics. Three of those years were in a large and small animal hospital and the other 10 years in a small animal only clinic. Frances has also served many officer positions in the Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians. She has served on numerous committees and was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award during her time of teaching.

Sue Allen, R.V.T.
Sue has worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the veterinary field for about 25 years. She received her A.S. degree from what was then T.S.T.I. in Waco. She has extensive background in working with both small and large animals. Sue has worked exclusively in mixed practices during her career. Her main focus was patient care and client education. She has participated in national pet week and career day at the schools in her community. She is a member of the Texas Association of Registered Veterinary Technicians.
