Arkansas State University-Beebe is conducting a search for two Certified Veterinary Technician positions for a new Veterinary Technology program. Arkansas State University-Beebe is a public two-year institution located 35 miles northeast of Little Rock and 110 miles southwest of Jonesboro, Arkansas and has been in continuous operation since 1927. ASU-Beebe offers the only Veterinary Technician program in Arkansas and graduated its first class in summer of 2009. Action will be taken upon ASU-Beebe's program accreditation visit as of October of 2009.

Since its foundation in 1927, Arkansas State University-Beebe has provided two years of course work for those who wish to transfer to senior institutions, and associate degrees and certificate programs which prepare students to enter the workforce in two years or less.
