Director of Visual and Performing Arts

Donald C. Balmos serves as director of the Fine Arts Division at McLennan Community College and he is responsible for these departments:

Visual Arts Department

Music Department

Commercial Music Department

Theatre Department

Bosque River Stage

Co-Chair of the MCC Facilities Master Plan

Member of the College Strategic Planning Committee

Dr. Balmos is the Director of Music at Seventh and James Baptist Church, Pianist and Opening Notes Lecturer at Waco Symphony Orchestra, ChorusMaster at Lyric Opera of Waco. Dr. Balmos is also a professional pianist and accompanist.
