Annual MCC Foundation Scholarship Recognition
and Reception

Sept. 3 is the date of this year's MCC Foundation scholarship reception at the MCC Conference Center at 7 p.m. Donors who have completed funding endowed scholarships this year and will be honored are:

Rick and Sharon Butler
Karen Conine
The Dwyer Group
Dave and Dottie Fornoff
Paul Gonzales
Ruth M. Laird Hix
The Rapoport Foundation

In addition, our many scholarship students will be recognized.

The distinguished speaker will be the Honorable J.A. (Andy) Harwell, MCC alumnus and County Clerk of McLennan County. Musical entertainment will be provided by Alison Lampert and Dr. Andy Hudson.

A dessert reception will follow the program.

Anyone wishing to attend may make reservations with Rose DeLeon at rdeleon@mclennan.edu or call 299-8677.

For the first time in its 21-year history, the MCC Foundation golf tournament has a title sponsor, Granite Ford of McGregor! Granite Ford represents the largest sponsor of the tournament and is joining the MCC Foundation to promote a full-day golf tournament, one of the oldest perpetual golf tournaments in McLennan County.

Flights are offered at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the tournament fee remains at $100 ($75 for MCC employees or family members). Participants receive a light breakfast, snacks, lunch and great participant "goody bags," along with, of course, a round of golf!

Sponsorships are still available and may be purchased by contacting the MCC Foundation office at 299-8604. Invitations to play in the tournament will go out just after Labor Day.

Plans are well underway for the MCC Foundation's annual Tax and Financial Planning Institute, scheduled for Nov. 11 at the MCC Conference Center.

Seven speakers from San Francisco, Waco, Ft. Worth, Dallas and Temple are scheduled to cover a multitude of topics for the benefit of local CPAs, attorneys, financial planners, trust officers, estate planners, investment professionals and insurance professionals.

Professional education credits will be available for all disciplines. To be included on the invitation mailing list, contact the Foundation office at 299-8604 or e-mail Rose DeLeon at rdeleon@mclennan.edu .
