  • Currently a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing and am conducting research in a qualitative study assessing Parent and Adolescent Knowledge of Genetic Testing and performing data analysis for a longitudinal quantitative study on Developing Health Behaviors in Middle Adolescents, both under the direction of Dr. Lynn Rew (PI), Denton & Louise Cooley and Family Centennial Professor in Nursing.

  • Development of critical thinking in nursing students through participation in nursing simulation lab activities
  • Development of health promotion strategies and educational programs that will prevent or reduce the global weight epidemic
