If education is the process of training and developing the knowledge, skill and mind, then physical education should develop the physical body. In a world of ever increasing mental and physical strain, our job as physical educators is to help students gain knowledge and participate in activities that promote physical fitness and conditioning and recreational activities. Likewise, athletics is another area of the total educational process that allows students with special physical skills to develop themselves to their fullest potential. It is the development of the students in these two areas (just two of the many educational areas) that I direct my efforts toward.
My goal is that I help influence students in the realization that excellence is attainable through discipline and commitment. One of my teaching strengths is the ability to communicate ideas and principles in a variety of ways, keeping the experience as enjoyable as possible, according to the needs of each student.
