Welcome to the Geography Department at McLennan Community College. Our department introduces students to the ever-changing and dynamic concepts that provide the foundation for the continued study of geography. Students are introduced to the different elements of natural environment as related to human activities, modes of living, and map concepts. In addition, students will be introduced to the various concepts of physical and cultural geography. Come and join us for an interesting exploration into the geographical world.
Mission
Our mission is to provide a quality learning experience and to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of geography. We hope to enhance awareness of the resources of our world and to nurture an interest in the different elements of our natural environment as they relate to human activity—physical and cultural.
