Requests will be delivered in five working days - weekends and holidays will effect the turnover time. These services are available
at no charge, with the exception of any overdue fines that you might incur if an item is not returned on time.
Article
Requests - To request an article from the McLennan Community
College Library, verify that we have the periodical and year needed by consulting
the Online
Catalog (select from the drop-down box "Journal/Newspaper Title Search").
Articles are emailed to the address submitted in the request. You must have
Acrobat Reader installed on
your computer to read the PDF file that will be sent.
Check more than one of our library subscription databases
before requesting an article copy. If the article you have requested is available full-text in one of our databases, the library will
send instructions to you on how to find the full-text. Article requests are limited to 15 pages/request and 10 articles/semester.
Book
Requests - To request a book from the McLennan Community College
Library, consult the Online
Catalog. If the book is already checked out, you may have a library
staff member put the item on hold (this option is on the online form or you
may call 299-8325).
The book(s) will arrive by mail to the mailing address you have provided. You will be subject to the same
lending periods as books checked out on campus. You can checkout 5 books per topic and a maximum of 10 items.
