Interlibrary Loan

Online Request Forms

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service offered by the MCC Library through the Texas State Library with the cooperation of the Austin Public Library. Students, faculty and staff are able to borrow books and obtain copies of periodical articles from libraries throughout the US. To use this service, you must fill out an Interlibrary Loan Form, available at the MCC Library Information Desk or complete an Online form for books or articles.

The more information about the book (title, author, publisher, date of publication, edition, and ISBN) or article (author, title of article, name of periodical, volume number, issue number, date of publication, page numbers, and ISSN), the easier it will be to locate the desired item. It is not necessary for you to know at which library the item is located.

Receiving an ILL item can take two to three weeks, start your research early enough so that you have time to get what you need! Bestsellers, recent releases, very rare, and old books cannot be requested.

When the materials arrive at the library, a member of the MCC Library staff will call the borrower. ILL books and articles can be picked up at the Check-In/Out Desk. All penalties for overdue MCC books will be enforced. Call (254) 299-8325 if you have questions.
