Electronic and Hard Copy Books
Electronic Books: Go to Articles, Research & More and click on Choose
a Database by Publication Type and then Electronic
Books. Choose Cambridge Collections Online,
eBrary or NetLibrary.
For an online dictionary, choose Oxford English Dictionary
Online from the Database by Publication Type
list.

Citing Sources
To cite books and articles that you retreive from the library's online databases, you need to have not only
the information about the article and book but the information about which online database you used to find the article or book. This includes the database name, the provide or vendor
of the database and the basic web address for the database.

We offer Document Delivery services
to online and distance students that are not able to come to the library
on campus. Items that are available online through our ebooks and article databases will not be mailed or emailed.
Articles:
Emailing of articles (PDF) from library owned hard copy periodicals
First, be sure that the journal or magazine in which the article was published is available
in our print periodicals
and that the full text article is not available electronically in
one
of our databases.
Books: Mailing
of library owned hard copy circulating books (no reference or reserves)
First, be sure that the book is in our print collection and that the full text article is not available
electronically in one of our eBook databases.

Borrowing from Other Libraries
Students able to come on-campus to the library can make online requests using
our Interlibrary
Loan Service. This service allows a MCC student to borrow known
items from other libraries and pick them up at the MCC library upon
their arrival.
Students able to come on-campus to the library can fill out a
TexShare
card application to gain borrowing priveleges from other
Texas libraries taking part in the
TexShare
card program.
