The director and staff members at McLennan Community College's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have earned the designation of "Master Business Development Specialists" from the North Texas Small Business Development Center (NTSBDC) Network in Dallas.

MCC SBDC Director Belinda Pillow and counselors Rae Carter and Michael Green received this designation, the highest level of recognition for counselors in the NTSBDC Network, for their outstanding service to small businesses. To receive the designation, the MCC SBDC employees had to demonstrate enhanced skills as counselors.

MCC SBDC—which serves Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hill, Johnson and McLennan counties—provides management assistance through a variety of free training and consulting services for current and prospective small business owners.
