April 9, 2009

McLennan Community College, Baylor University, Texas State Technical College and the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Work in Waco job fair for college students from 2-5 p.m. April 21 in McLennan Hall at the Waco Convention Center. The fair is free for students and graduates of MCC, Baylor and TSTC.

Representatives from dozens of local employers will be on hand for students to meet with regarding internships, part-time jobs and full-time employment. Industries represented include finance, education, health care, sales, insurance, retail, manufacturing and construction.

Held for the first time last year, the Work in Waco job fair has a mission of keeping Waco's college graduates in McLennan County by connecting them with local employers.
