Satellite seminar on Oct. 1 rescheduled

Phi Theta Kappa's satellite seminar on Oct. 1 in the Lecture Hall has been rescheduled for Nov. 5
The seminar will feature Ray Suarez, author and senior correspondent for "The NewsHour" on PBS. An observer of the changing nature of communities and the intersection of religion and politics, Suarez will share insight into the evolution of American life.
The former host of NPR's "Talk of the Nation," Suarez joined "The NewsHour" as a Washington-based senior correspondent in 1999. A longstanding member of the Washington press corps, he is well-known for his expertise on quintessentially American issues, including politics, demographics, race and religion.
Following the recorded satellite presentation, a local facilitator will lead a discussion on the topic.
