Paralegal Studies

Welcome to McLennan’s Paralegal Program

To enter the world of law as a paralegal is to join one of the fastest-growing career fields today. In our complex and rapidly changing world, lawyers have come to depend on formally educated, competent paralegals to whom they can delegate case research, document preparation, investigative work and office management. Our program prepares you to become an integral member of effective legal services teams.

Mission

"According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for paralegals is expected to increase by 12 percent between 2020 and 2030, which is faster than the average for all occupations. Students in our program will master the skills necessary to work in law firms, businesses, industry and government through coursework, labs, and internships. With the MCC degree and the practical knowledge gained on the job, our graduates have progressed to managerial-level positions such as court clerk, contracts administrator, and information technology supervisor.
