Submission Guide

- All written work must be submitted electronically.
- Work previously published will not be accepted. When you submit to The Stone Circle, you are acknowledging that each piece is an original, unpublished work.
- Work may be sent as an e-mail, or in the case of long pieces, as an attachment.
- Work should be in Microsoft Word™ 1998-2003 or later.
- Each piece should have a cover sheet with the following information:
Name of Student
Address
Phone number
E-mail address
Student ID number (found on ID card)
Title of the piece
- Only the title of the piece should appear with the poem or story text.If your piece has more than one page, please put the title, with pagination, in the upper right hand corner.
- Unless extended, all deadlines are strictly enforced.
- If you wish to be credited under a pseudonym, please indicate the name on the cover sheet and in your e-mail.
- All work not picked up within one week will be shredded.
- Limit ten poems per poet.
- Short stories must be less than 8 pages.
- Limit five photographs per artist.
- Please do not use any fancy fonts, text boxes, bold face type, underlining or .pdf files. Arial 12 point (12 point Geneva on Apple Computers) is the best font to use.
