Tech Prep Program

Advances in technology have changed the workplace in a dramatic way. Students graduating from high school need highly technical skills to be competitive in the job market. Up to 85% of all jobs require at least two years of education beyond high school.

Tech Prep programs prepare today's youth for high-demand technical careers by offering a focused, sequenced program of secondary and postsecondary study consisting of a four-year high school graduation plan and a two-year associate of applied science (AAS) degree plan.

The Tech Prep articulated career path is a six-year plan of courses:

   4 years of high school
+ 2 years of college

6 year program = Associate degree
