Welcome to the McLennan Community College Testing Services Center. We are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday. We are here to facilitate the testing needs of our student population.

Mission

Our mission is to provide the space and quiet environment to accommodate most testing needs. Please feel free to come and visit us on the 3rd floor of the Student Center.

Instructional Testing

Instructors may send students from their Internet, hybrid, and telecourse sections to take exams. The Testing Center also proctors make-up exams and exams for students needing special accommodations. Please contact mjohnson@mclennan.edu or call 299-8415 to make arrangements for your students to test.

Accuplacer

Accuplacer (a three-hour alternative test for Texas Success Initiative purposes) is scheduled on days and times to meet admission, advising and registration needs.

Accuplacer is scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Late testing is offered on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome; however, students will only be allowed to test provided they have pre-paid the testing fees and space is available.

Other forms of testing

  • The Quick THEA is administered monthly on Wednesdays. During peak registration times the Quick Thea is administered bimonthly
  • The CLEP hours are Monday - Thursday at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. Correspondence tests can be proctored Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • All Health Sciences-related examinations. Health Occupations Aptitude Test (Vet Tech) and LPN-GAP are Thursday administrations. The CAT is given on Tuesdays and Fridays. The HESI exam is given on Fridays.
  • National SAT and ACT tests are Saturday administrations.
