What is LEAP?

LEAP stands for Learning Environment Adaptability Project, and it's a plan to increase student success by giving them Emotional Intelligence (EI) skills to overcome obstacles. LEAP provides skills that students can use to adapt to college life and then to working in the "real world."

Why does McLennan have LEAP?

It is the college's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), which is a goal to improve student success. McLennan is required to successfully implement and complete a QEP to continue to be an accredited institution under the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
