certBachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies - Middle Level Certification - MATH

Texas Tech University

This 120-hour multidisciplinary studies degree is designed for students to achieve a teacher certification in mathematics for grades four through eight. Upon 60 hours of coursework to be completed with MCC, students will begin their upper level requirements in a rotation with TTU. This comprehensive curriculum includes 24 hours of mathematics requirements, in addition to educational teacher preparation and secondary teaching experiences. Internship and student teaching are both completed in Waco. Students will be required to make appropriate scores on the Texas Examinations for Educators Standards (TExES) exam upon beginning their teaching career.
