Summer 2026 Highest Honors Graduates

Burcu Altun

Burcu Altun is receiving an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Burcu says, “Above all, I am grateful to Allah, my Lord and Creator, for guiding me through this journey. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my aunt, Nesrin, whose love, care, and guidance helped shape the person I am today. My deepest and most special appreciation goes to my husband, whose unwavering support, patience, and sacrifices made this journey possible. This achievement is not mine alone; he carried this dream with me every step of the way.

Burcu plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at the University of Arkansas.

Penelope Althea Brennan

Penelope Brennan is receiving an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology.

Penelope says, “I would like to thank my family, friends, instructors, and classmates for their unwavering love, encouragement, guidance, and belief in me throughout my journey at MCC. Their support gave me the strength to persevere through every challenge and inspired me to strive for excellence. This honor is not only a personal accomplishment, but also a reflection of the many people who stood beside me, celebrated my successes, and reminded me that hard work and perseverance truly pay off. Thank you all for helping me reach this milestone.”

Penelope plans to pursue a career as a Registered Health Information Technician and looks forward to continuing her professional growth by earning additional certifications.

Aiden River Bullion

Aiden Bullion is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.

Aiden says, “I want to thank my family for their constant support and motivation. My three sisters, Emma, Mia, and Addi, and my brother-in-law, Dylan, are always pushing me to be a better version of myself. My parents, Dr. John C. Bullion and Dr. Stacy R. Bullion, are the strongest leaders that I have ever met, and I could not ask for better parents. I would also like to thank some professors for their guidance during my time at MCC: Dr. Barnes, Professor Illich, Dr. Andreas, Professor Rose, Professor Thompson, Professor Campenni, and Dr. Spano.”

Aiden plans to pursue an Aerospace Engineering degree at Texas A&M University.

Alana F. Gallagher

Alana Gallagher is receiving an Associate of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood-12th Grade Generalist.

Alana says, “I would like to thank my boyfriend, JT, who has supported me throughout my journey as an international student at MCC, and my family, who always supports me, even from 7000 miles away.”

Alana plans to pursue an elementary education degree through Tarleton State University at Waco.

Nathan B. Trinh is receiving an Associate of Science in General Academics.
