Tuition Refund Information

If you need to withdraw from school or drop a course, tuition and fees will be refunded according to the following policy:

2022 Fall 16-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Aug. 22)
  2. During the first 15 class days - 70 percent (Aug. 22 - Sept. 12)
  3. During 16th-20th class days - 25 percent (Sept. 13-19)
  4. No refund after Sept. 19

2022 Fall First 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Aug. 22)
  2. During the first eight class days - 70 percent (Aug. 22-31)
  3. During 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (Sept. 1-2)
  4. No refund after Sept. 2

2022 Fall Second 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Oct. 17)
  2. During the first eight class days - 70 percent (Oct. 17-26)
  3. During the 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (Oct. 27-28)
  4. No refund after Oct. 28

2022 Winter Minimester

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Dec. 13)
  2. During first and second class days - 70 percent (Dec. 13-14)
  3. No refund after Dec. 14

2023 Spring 16-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Jan. 9)
  2. During first 15 class days - 70 percent (Jan. 9 - Jan. 30)
  3. During 16th-20th class days - 25 percent (Jan. 31 - Feb. 6)
  4. No refund after Feb. 6

2023 Spring First 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before Jan. 9)
  2. During the first eight class days - 70 percent (Jan. 9 - Jan. 19)
  3. During 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (Jan. 20 - Jan. 23)
  4. No refund after Jan. 23

2023 Spring Second 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before March 13)
  2. During the first eight class days - 70 percent (March 13 - March 22)
  3. During the 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (March 23 - March 24)
  4. No refund after March 24

2023 Summer Minimester

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before May 11)
  2. During first and second class days - 70 percent (May 11 - May 12)
  3. No refund after May 12

2023 Summer I (Six-Week Classes)

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before May 30)
  2. During first five class days - 70 percent (May 30 - June 6)
  3. During sixth and seventh class days - 25 percent (June 7 - June 8)
  4. No refund after June 8

2023 Summer I (Nine-Week Classes)

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before May 30)
  2. During the first nine class days - 70 percent (May 30 - June 13)
  3. During 10th - 11th class days - 25 percent (June 14 - June 15)
  4. No refund after June 15

2023 Summer I (Eleven-Week Classes)

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before May 30)
  2. During the first tenth class days - 70 percent (May 30 - June 14)
  3. During 11th-14th class days - 25 percent (June 15 - June 22)
  4. No refund after June 22

2023 Summer II Six-Week Classes

  1. Prior to first class day - 100 percent (before July 10)
  2. During first five class days - 70 percent (July 10 - July 17)
  3. During sixth and seventh class days - 25 percent (July 18 - July 19)
  4. No refund after July 19

Note: The term "class day" refers to the number of calendar days classes have been in session. For information about the refund policy for flexible-entry classes, call the Business Office at 299-8627. "Mandatory fees" include General Services Fee, Facilities Fee, and Lab Fees. "Optional fees" are non-refundable.

Tuition refunds apply only to that portion of a student's semester hour enrollment for which tuition has been charged and payment received. Tuition and fees paid directly to the college by a sponsor, donor or scholarship will be refunded to the source, rather than directly to the student.

Payment Term Agreement

All students must agree to the Terms and Conditions each semester prior to registering for classes. This agreement will automatically appear in Student Planning before you select your classes.
