Tuition Refund Information

If you need to withdraw from school or drop a course, tuition and fees will be refunded according to the following policy:

2023 Winter Minimester

  1. Prior to second class day - 100 percent (before Dec. 12)
  2. During the second class day - 70 percent (Dec. 12)
  3. During the third class day - 25 percent (Dec. 13)
  4. No refund after Dec. 13

2024 Spring 16-Week Classes

  1. Prior to fourth class day - 100 percent (before Jan. 11)
  2. During the 4th-15th class days - 70 percent (Jan. 11 - Jan. 26)
  3. During the 16th-20th class days - 25 percent (Jan. 27 - Feb. 2)
  4. No refund after Feb. 2

2024 Spring First 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to fourth class day - 100 percent (before Jan. 11)
  2. During the 4th-8th class days - 70 percent (Jan. 11 - Jan. 17)
  3. During the 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (Jan. 18 - Jan. 19)
  4. No refund after Jan. 19

2024 Spring Second 8-Week Classes

  1. Prior to fourth class day - 100 percent (before March 14)
  2. During the 4th-8th class days - 70 percent (March 14 - March 20)
  3. During the 9th-10th class days - 25 percent (March 21 - March 22)
  4. No refund after March 22

2024 Summer Minimester

  1. Prior to second class day - 100 percent (before May 10)
  2. During the second class day - 70 percent (May 10)
  3. During the third class day - 25 percent (May 13)
  4. No refund after May 13

Note: The term "class day" refers to the number of calendar days classes have been in session. For information about the refund policy for flexible-entry classes, call the Business Office at 299-8627. "Mandatory fees" include General Services Fee, Facilities Fee, and Lab Fees. "Optional fees" are non-refundable.

Tuition refunds apply only to that portion of a student's semester hour enrollment for which tuition has been charged and payment received. Tuition and fees paid directly to the college by a sponsor, donor or scholarship will be refunded to the source, rather than directly to the student.

Payment Term Agreement

All students must agree to the Terms and Conditions each semester prior to registering for classes. This agreement will automatically appear in Student Planning before you select your classes.
