Your MCC Student Email

MCC gives every student, staff member, and faculty member an official email account through Microsoft O365. You must use this email for all college business. This follows MCC's Official Email Communication Policy.

Keep Your Personal Accounts Separate

Your student email is for school use only. Do not use it to sign up for personal services like Google Photos, YouTube, banking, social media, or subscriptions. If you lose access to your student email, any personal accounts linked to it may be hard or impossible to get back.

When Does Your Account Expire?

Your student email stays active for 365 days after your last MCC class. After that, your account — including all emails, files, and O365 data — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

How to Get Your Account

Your email account is created after you apply to MCC. It is ready within 24 hours or by the next business day.

How to Log In

To access your email:

Your username is made up of:

  • First initial of your first name
  • First initial of your last name
  • Your 7-digit MCC ID number
  • All lowercase, followed by @students.mclennan.edu
Example: Jane Doe (MCC ID 0128043 ) would be j d 0128043

Your password is the same as the one you created for MyMCC. Need to reset it? Visit https://sso.mclennan.edu/reset/forgot.
