Health Professions Simulation

MCC's Health Professions Simulation (HPS) building is a dedicated environment for health care students and professionals to learn competencies that enhance quality patient safety through the use of simulation-based technology. This environment provides the learner opportunities to participate in clinical experiences in a safe, non-threatening and structured environment.

The HPS building is the centerpiece of MCC's Health Professions Complex, a cluster of new and existing buildings created to expand in-depth healthcare training. The 15,600-square-foot simulation building opened to students in January 2012.

The simulation laboratory is available to groups outside of MCC to use for simulated learning. For more information, please contact Glynnis Gaines at ggaines@mclennan.edu
