MCC Foundation Awards $851,269.50 in Scholarships

The McLennan Community College Foundation honored scholarship students and donors at the annual Scholar, Donor, and Alumni Appreciation Luncheon on Nov. 7 on the MCC campus. The MCC Foundation awarded a record-breaking $851,269.50 in student scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is the highest amount awarded to students in the Foundation’s 35-year history, representing nearly a 10% increase over last year, and a significant investment in the local workforce and economy. The Foundation’s priority scholarship application period for the 2026-2027 academic year is open through Jan. 15, 2026 at https://mclennan.awardspring.com/.
