Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) is responsible for creating and maintaining a consistent, positive, and dynamic public image of McLennan Community College by administrating strategic public relations, media relations, website content & design, communications, and marketing plans.

MARCOM creates all of the College’s major marketing materials including print and online advertisements, program brochures, direct mail pieces, website content and photos, and much more. The team develops an advertising campaign each year that aligns with College’s annual priorities for the academic year.

Departments and programs should email to discuss paid advertising or marketing projects. 

Licensing & Logos

MARCOM is the official custodian of the MCC brand. The marks (logos or graphics representative of MCC's brand) of McLennan Community College are regulated through a licensing program administered by MARCOM and the administration of MCC. Use of any of these marks will require the written approval of McLennan Community College.

MARCOM is responsible for distributing news to local media outlets through press/news releases, story pitches, and face-to-face interviews.
