Using WebAdvisor for Financial Information

NOTICE: If you get an error that reads, "Your connection is not fully secure", follow these instructions:

CHROME or EDGE web browsers:

  • Right-click the "Not Secure" message to the left of the URL (or the web address in the top of the browser).
  • Select Site Settings.
  • Set "Insecure Content" to allow.


  • Click the Advanced button on the left bottom of the error box.
  • You should see another link that reads, "Proceed to "" (unsafe).
  • You may bypass the error by click on the "Proceed to ... (unsafe) link.

Firefox web browsers:

You may see an error that reads, "Secure Connection Failed". Follow the instructions below.

  • Click on "Enable TLS 1.0 and 1.1" or "Accept the Risk and Continue".

WebAdvisor lets you check your financial aid status and awards and accept financial aid awards online. You can also use it to make a tuition payment, set up a payment plan and view your tuition balance.

Here are some of the most commonly used financial-related features of WebAdvisor, including instructions on how to make a tuition payment and enroll in the payment plan.

Financial Aid

Financial aid status by year & Financial aid status by term

  • This will show you an up-to-date indication of the current status of your award(s). If your search returns "There is no Financial Aid information for the selected year," that means either you did not apply for financial aid or your application is still being processed.

Accept or reject my financial aid awards

  • This area allows you to accept or reject your Direct Stafford Loan awards. Once you have registered for classes, all other awards are automatically considered accepted and will transmit to your account on the scheduled date without any action on your part. If you wish to decline all or part of your awards, please notify the Office of Financial Aid at or fill out the financial aid Request Form and submit it to Highlander Central.

Financial Information

Account Summary

This is where you will find your tuition bill, which will show your tuition and fees and any financial aid that will be applied to your bill. If you see a minus sign near the total, that is the amount of your refund, not the amount you still owe.

All Payment Options

This is where you can make a payment or enroll in a payment plan.

To Make a Payment

  1. On the Welcome page, click Click Here.
  2. Under Your Account, choose Click Here to Make a Payment.
  3. Click on the balance you want to pay.
  4. To pay a balance, click Add to Shopping Cart.
  5. Verify your payment information and click Checkout.
  6. Choose a method of payment and click Continue Checkout.
  7. Enter payment information and confirm the information on the next page.
  8. Once you click Submit Payment, your payment is complete. You will be directed to a receipt page. Your receipt will automatically be emailed to you. At the bottom of the page, you can choose to have your receipt emailed to another email address or to print it.

Authorized Users PINs
If a parent will be making tuition payments, you must first create a parent PIN.

  1. Click Add New.
  2. Create a Parent PIN, which will be the parent's username.
  3. The parent will receive an email with the PIN, a password and the link to log in.
  4. After they log in the first time, they will be required to create a new password.
