Advisor Guide

Before you register for classes, you need to meet with an advisor through Advising & Career Services or Workforce Program AdvisorAdvisors help you pick the right courses and plan your future career.

Who Is My Advisor?

New Students

New students meet with Advising & Career Services before their first semester. You can meet in person or join our Zoom Waiting Room for a virtual appointment.
Location: Student Services Building, Suite 211
Phone: 254-299-8614

Transfer Students

Are you an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), pre-health professions, transfer, or undecided student? Meet with Advising & Career Services. You can meet in person or join our Zoom Waiting Room for a virtual appointment.
Location: Student Services Building, Suite 211
Phone: 254-299-8614

Non-Degree Seeking / Transient Students

Are you taking classes at MCC while still enrolled at another college? You may qualify as a transient or non-degree-seeking student. To qualify, you must have attended another college the semester before your MCC term.

You don't need to meet with an MCC advisor as long as you've submitted your most recent college transcript and met any course prerequisites. These students don't qualify for financial aid and must follow MCC's payment deadlines.

For help with transcripts, waivers, or degree changes, contact Highlander Central, located in the Enrollment Services Center.
