Campus Update August 24, 2021

Dear Employees & Students,

Tomorrow, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., MCC will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Michaelis Academic Center (MAC) Commons Area.  During the pandemic, the Leadership Team has followed the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as local and state health officials and continues to do so with our belief that encouraging vaccinations is a critical part of our path forward to beat COVID-19.  We strongly encourage all students to be vaccinated.

We will offer a $200 incentive to students who participate in our campus vaccination clinic or to those who are vaccinated at another site on or after August 25. This will be funded with the Federal COVID relief funds provided through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). We are limited to providing this incentive to only unvaccinated students.  Additional information can be found on the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic webpage.
