Amanda Castanon

Amanda Castanon is receiving an Associate of Arts with Field of Study in Business Administration & Management.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Amanda says, “I want to acknowledge that all glory goes to God for guiding me through this journey and also extend heartfelt thanks to my family for their unwavering support, especially my parents Armando and Ana Castanon.”

Amanda plans to continue her education by pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems from Tarleton State University.

Brianna Rene Guerrero

Brianna Rene Guerrero is receiving an Associate of Artswith Field of Study in Nursing and an Associate of Arts in General Academics.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Brianna says, “I would like to thank my boyfriend and all of my family who have supported me and celebrated any accomplishment I’ve made this past year and a half throughout the beginning of my college career. It really means so much to me to have so much love, support, and encouragement from you all.”

Brianna plans to continue her education by pursuing a nursing degree at Temple College.

Chloe Helena Thorburn

Chloe Helena Thorburn is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Chloe says, “First and foremost, I want to thank my mother for always being my most ardent supporter, as well as my art and honors instructors for constantly pushing me in my personal and academic endeavors. Everyone in my life has contributed to my success, and I hope I can continue to make them proud.”

Chloe plans to continue her education by pursing an art therapy degree at the University of North Texas.

Grace Yovone Hornick is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Grace says, “I would like to thank my husband Samuele Hornick, my parents Pam and Rickey Countryman, and my success coach, Mary Evans.”

Grace plans to continue her education at Tarleton State University.

Isabelle Julia Murphy is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Isabelle says, “I am very grateful for the support I have received in my time at MCC. First, thank you to my parents for being there for me my whole life, I am more grateful than words can express. I would also like to thank my professors for their patience, enthusiasm, and dedication to their craft, as well as MCC's advisors for their prudent guidance. I also appreciate getting to work with my fellow students – their input has greatly enriched my experience. Finally, I am grateful to my scholarship sponsors, whose generosity is inspiring.”

Isabelle plans to continue her education by pursuing a degree in computer science but is undecided on the university.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Ricardo says, “Jesus Christ, my parents Ernesto Núñez & Maria Morales, and all the guides along the way.”

Ricardo plans to continue his studies at MCC and to pursue a career in the medical field.

Rosalie Elaine Sandager is receiving an Associate of Arts with Field of Study in Business Administration & Management.

When asked what influenced her academic success, Rosalie says, “First, I would like to thank my family for all of their support, time, and dedication as well as the help I received brainstorming ideas and editing advice after they read all of my awful drafts. Additionally, I would like to thank my boyfriend for encouraging me and always being there when I needed a hand to help me up. I am also grateful for the caring support I received from my professors which helped me learn and grow. Most of all, I would like to thank God for carrying me through this challenging season of my life.”

Rosalie plans to continue her education by pursing an accounting degree at Tarleton State University-Waco.
