Testing Center

The MCC Testing Center has opened to proctor exams that CANNOT be offered online. (ATI TEAS, CLEP, Fire Academy, HESI, HiSET, MPE, PSB, and TCFB.) In-person testing for these exams will be available on a LIMITED BASIS, allowing only ten (10) testers in the testing room at a time. Due to limited capacity, Accuplacer, TSIA, and MSSC-CPT exams will continue to be offered ONLY ONLINE (VIRTUALLY). Instructional exams will continue to be the professor's responsibilities with accommodated testing and make-up exams tentatively resuming at the start of the Fall 2020 semester. Summer 2020 testing hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. With the exception of Friday, July 3, 2020 when the campus will be closed. All testing candidates MUST have an appointment. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted.

The MCC Testing Center is an innovative testing site that provides MCC students and the community at-large with an optimal testing experience. Testing can help you evaluate the skills you have, and need, to advance your academic and career goals.

The MCC Testing Center offers:

  • Admission and program-specific exams which are national and state-wide such as: ACT, ACCUPACER, ATI TEAS, HESI, HiSET, MSSC CPT, PSB, SAT, TCFP, and TSIA.
  • Students the opportunity to receive alternative placement or credit in areas of demonstrated academic proficiency through alternative placement or credit by exam. These exams are provided in cooperation with the college registrar and respective academic departments. Credit by exams offered are CLEP (College Level Examination Program) and MCC Departmental Examinations. Additional credit by exams accepted are AP (College Board Advanced Placement Program Examination), IB (Credit for an International Baccalaureate Examination), and Advanced Placement based on scores achieved on the ACT and SAT. The current alternative placement exams offered are is MCC's MPE (Math Placement Exam).
  • The administration of Institutional Exams (MCC Course Exams) for current MCC students. Please note, the MCC Testing Center cannot proctor an entire classes' assessments unless the class is an online/hybrid course. Departmental exam services for face-to-face courses are designed to assist with individual student's make-up exams and students with accommodations.
  • The administration of external and correspondence exams for MCC University Center students and the community at-large.


All services, tests, and results are strictly confidential in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Disclosure of information cannot be made without the individual's written consent.

Parking: We recommend you park in parking lot B then walk through the Michaelis Academic Center (MAC) to the center of campus. The Student Service Center will be to your right. Take the bridge to the second floor where the testing center is located.

Testing Hours

Summer 2020 Testing Hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. All testing candidates MUST have an appointment. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted.
Monday 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Walk-in testing is available based on seat availability for some exams.

Inclement Weather - The Testing Center observes all College closures.
