Courses are rigorous, taught by many of the same professors who teach at the home campus or at other top universities. Classes are small and offered daytime, evening, or online to fit your busy lifestyle. Full-time advisors assist you with a smooth transfer of college credits from McLennan to the partner university.

Each degree program can be completed on the MCC campus, so that students do not have to travel out of McLennan County. However, students in some University Center programs may choose to take a course at the home university campus in order to finish their degree ahead of schedule.
The University Center at MCC is concerned with the junior and senior level courses needed to complete a bachelor's degree in a chosen field. Advisors are available for each degree that is offered. Each degree plan is designed to incorporate the core curriculum from McLennan Community College to provide a seamless transition to the four-year degree of choice.
