Virtual TSIA2 Information

Virtual Online Testing through ProctorU allows you to have your TSIA exam proctored virtually, with a live proctor who will monitor your test session remotely while you take your exam.

 VIRTUAL PROCTORING REQUIRES TWO FEES:

  1. TSIA EXAM FEE PAID TO MCC
    $21.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Entire TSIA2 Assessment
    $17.50 (plus $3.50 service fee) - ELAR Multiple Choice or Essay and Math
    $17.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - ELAR only (Multiple Choice & Essay)
    $13.50 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Essay only or ELAR Multiple Choice only
    $14.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Math only

  2. PROCTORING FEE PAID TO PROCTORU
    $28.00 (additional charges apply to "rush" proctoring services)

TAKE THE TSIA VIRTUALLY 

STEP #1: Complete the Mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). Email your certificate of completion to testingservices@mclennan.edu.  

STEP #2: Pay the MCC test unit fee through MCC's RegisterBlast. When steps 1 and 2 are complete, Your testing voucher will be created. Please allow 24-business hours for you voucher to be created once you have completed steps 1 and 2. Please note, our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

STEP #3: WAIT for your testing voucher to arrive via email, then schedule your testing exam with ProctorU. A proctoring fee of $28 is paid directly to ProctorU (additional rush proctoring fees may apply). Look for an email from ACCUPLACER containing your eight-digit voucher number. The subject line will read "Remote Voucher Notification." You cannot test without a testing voucher! Please wait until you receive the
voucher to schedule your test. The email will contain the steps you need to complete to schedule your exam session.

ID REQUIREMENTS

A valid, unexpired photo ID is required for all testing. Acceptable forms of government-issued IDs include a driver's license, state ID card, passport, military ID, national ID, tribal ID, naturalization card, certificate of citizenship, or permanent resident card (Green Card). A photo or photocopy of an ID is not acceptable. Photos must be clear and recognizable. Student IDs are acceptable for TSIA2.

Do not have a valid, unexpired photo ID, then you may complete the ACCUPLACER Student ID Form.
