About C.A.R.E.
Who We Are
Campus Assessment, Response & Evaluation (C.A.R.E.) is a centralized campus resource dedicated to supporting students of concern through timely assessment, intervention, and connection to resources when challenges arise that may impact their well-being or success.
C.A.R.E. addresses behaviors, situations, or circumstances that may affect a student’s well-being, safety, or success and serves as a point of connection for students, faculty, and staff to report concerns and access coordinated support. Through a structured case management and assessment model, the team collaborates with campus and community partners to promote student stability and maintain a safe campus environment.
What We Do
C.A.R.E. promotes student safety, support, and success by providing voluntary, non-clinical case management for students experiencing concerns that may impact their well-being or ability to succeed. Through a supportive, student-centered approach, C.A.R.E. assesses concerns, connects students to resources, and coordinates care across campus and community partners.
C.A.R.E. services include:
- Reviewing referrals for students of concern
- Conducting safety and risk assessments
- Providing short-term, stabilization-focused case management
- Connecting students to campus and community resources
- Coordinating with campus partners to support student needs
- Monitoring progress and adjusting support as needed
C.A.R.E.’s approach emphasizes student autonomy, connection to support systems, and a holistic understanding of each student’s experience.
**Please note: C.A.R.E. is not a counseling service but works closely with The Counseling Center and other resources to connect students with the support they need.**
