Core Complete
This is your goal if you . . .
- Want to complete the 42 semester hour Texas core curriculum.
- Will start dual credit in grade 9 or 10.
- Plan to attend a Texas public college or university.
- Have an area of interest (Liberal Arts, STEM, etc.) even if you have not selected a definite major.
This suggested course plan will keep you on track to be core complete by high school graduation.

Specific math and science courses will be selected with the assistance of an MCC advisor, taking into consideration a student’s academic goals at both MCC and future colleges. Students may opt to complete a course in the summer between grades 10 and 11 and/or 11 and 12 to reduce the load during long semesters. |
