McLennan Scholars

 McLennan Scholars student.

The McLennan Scholarships is awarded to students who are in the top 10% of their high school class at the end of their junior year at an accredited high school in McLennan county. If fewer than 21 students are in the junior class, then the two highest-ranking students will receive the scholarship. McLennan county home schooled students are also eligible to receive this award.

Recipients of the scholarship will be notified by the College and their high school principal at the end of their junior year.

Not quite in the top 10% of your class? If you rank in the top 11-20% at the end of your junior year, you may be eligible for the Rising Star Scholarship at MCC.

Home Schooled Students

This scholarship is also offered to five students in McLennan County who graduate from home school programs. These students must complete the McLennan Community College Foundation scholarship application and indicate their interest in the home school McLennan Scholarship. The scholarship committee will then award the scholarships.
