McLennan Scholars

The McLennan Scholarship is for students who finish their junior year in the top 10% of their class at an accredited high school in McLennan County. If the junior class has fewer than 21 students, the top two students will receive the scholarship. Home-schooled students in McLennan County may also qualify for this award.

The College and the student’s high school principal will notify scholarship recipients at the end of the student’s junior year.

Not in the top 10% of your class? Students who rank in the top 11-20% after their junior year may qualify for the Rising Star Scholarship at MCC.

Home Schooled Students

Five home-schooled students in McLennan County may also receive this scholarship. Students must complete the McLennan Community College Foundation scholarship application and show interest in the home school McLennan Scholarship. The scholarship committee will choose the recipients.
