| Hello I am Ykenya. I am the youngest of four siblings and the first person in my family to have a Master’s Degree. I am a native Wacoan. I enjoy spending time with my family/friends. I’m a foodie who loves snacks. I have been singing all of my life in the church and school choirs. I’m a lover of anything from the 90’s. I would consider myself a fashionista. I love clothes, hair, and makeup. The reason I chose Social Work for my career is because I’m a problem solver. I love helping others and I have a passion for making this world a better place. I enjoy working here at MCC because I get to play a role in the success of helping all students to accomplish their goals. If I could give student any piece of advice it would be to be yourself and never be afraid to ask for help if you need it. |
