Music Industry Careers
MCC's Music Industry Careers prepares students for careers as performers, songwriters, recording engineers/producers, music store employees, private lesson instructors, and as management employees for companies selling music industry products and services.
Performance
Preparation for careers as touring musicians, nightclub acts, show bands, studio musicians, recording artists, and as teachers of popular music in private music studios
Audio Technology
Preparation for careers in audio production positions such as audio producers, recording engineers, sound-designers, and MIDI programmers
Venue & Talent Management
Preparation for careers in management positions including artist management, record labels, and music publishing management; positions in retail and wholesale music merchandising and booking agencies
Songwriting
Preparation for careers as composers, arrangers, and songwriters
Music Industry Careers' students can participate in a wide variety of ensembles as part of their training:
