Part-Time Temporary Positions

Part-Time Instructor, Aide, and administrative positions are temporary positions filled on an as-needed basis. Applications are kept on file for one calendar year.

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:


ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY *POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON GRANT FUNDING*

Our program services the following counties: Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone & McLennan.

English Language Acquisition (ELA) and GED (General Education Development) Preparation

  • Part-Time Instructors

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with Teacher’s Credentials.
  • Part-Time Instructional Aides

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Part-time Teacher Assistants

Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED.

**During summer months, hours may be up to 40 hours per week.

LIBRARY PART-TIME EMPLOYEE

MCC Library Services seeks a part-time employee to assist at the reference desk
Job descriptions:

This person will answer and provide assistance with research questions. They will also help with special library staff assignments.

An MLS or MLIS degree from an American Library Association accredited school, a master's degree in a related field, or 18 hours of graduate coursework completed toward a Library Science or a related degree is required.
Hours of work:
Mondays 5pm – 9 pm
Saturdays 9am - 3pm
Pay rate:
$21/hour

  • Part-Time Mathematics Instructor

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University
    • Secondary Certification in Math
  • Experience:
    • One year teaching experience at the High School level
    • One year working with underrepresented students
  • Part-Time English Instructor

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University
    • Secondary Certification in English
  • Experience:
    • One year teaching experience at the High School level
    • One year working with underrepresented students
